JMango to provide Philippines mobile users with AP sport news
MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – April 29, JMango, an international mobile platform company, has announced that it has signed a deal with the world’s largest news service, The Associated Press, to distribute AP sports news content to mobile consumers in the Philippines.
JMango and the Associated Press will roll out its sports news and information service to sports fans in the Philippines, allowing them to get the latest updates on football including the World Cup 2010, Boxing, Basketball, and many other sports, from its 300 news gathering locations worldwide.
JMango has developed its own proprietary mobile platform, allowing mobile applications to be developed and deployed to most mobile handsets in the market. The company licenses its mobile platform and application tools to corporations, telecoms firms and content producers, and also develops specific applications for the mobile market.
