Mobile App Company Signs Deals with Two Philippines Corporations
MANILA, July 21, International mobile app platform company JMango announced today that it has formally opened its Manila global research and development office and revealed that it has signed ground-breaking agreements with two large corporations in the Philippines. The JMango global software development offices were formally launched at a cocktail event in Manila, with executives from a number of leading corporations present, including its two new customers.
The company announced today that Globe Telecom and the Philippines Savings Bank (PSBank) have formed agreements to use JMango’s mobile app platform. Globe said it would develop apps for its 25 million mobile customers, while PSBank said it was looking at providing its customers with a mobile app for personal banking. JMango and Globe Labs have formed a strategic partnership where Globe Labs will use the JMango platform for their external developer community to develop new and exciting applications for their customers as well as using the platform for their own development.
JMango said it was also excited to have formed a mobile technology relationship with PSBank, which will seek to launch a personal banking mobile app for its customers. As mobile solution provider for PSBank, JMango will develop a state of the art mobile application that will give the bank’s clients full access to the banks services from just about any handset in the market. The companies are also looking at developing other ground breaking applications incorporating technologies such as the two dimensional QR codes or RFID.
